For most you are either going to buy because you like Madden or avoid it because you're not fond of EA...
First things first… I have purchased Madden every year since it first came out. I still have every one of my old copies of course I still have my Atari 2600 Football also. I am not an ‘EA Fanboy’ as so many people l... Read Full Review

A pretty good game for a hyped-up game! But still, here's a list about what I don't like.
This game is impressive considering I'm a huge fan of ESPN NFL 2k5. Besides what I like about this game, I'll tell you what I don't like. In mini-camp after you draft your players (in Franchise mode), you will see se... Read Full Review

We are heading into another Dark epoch for Video Game football.
You can't blame EA for buying the rights to the NFL franchise. You CAN blame the NFL for selling it to only one publisher. This is a sad time for people that love football and football video games. My deepest fears ... Read Full Review

Gameplay-Same Presentation-Down right horrible Graphics-No Different, Cartooney Analysis-Worst Madden to date, and don't think that's going to change because EA won't. NCAA for only the second time ever, was a be... Read Full Review

I had high hopes. I guess it turns out that it's easier to buy the NFL license than to make a better NFL game...
The games looks decent enough though it's not as much of a graphical upgrade as I would have liked. Most of the animations are nicely done. However, there are some animation problems when it comes to tipped passes. Th... Read Full Review

$49.99 for this? Try again EA.
This game is absolutely terrible. Where are the fantastic online capabilities that were in the ESPN games last year? Graphics are same old stuff we've seen before. If EA didn't muscle the ESPN games out of the market ... Read Full Review

I'm sooo glad EA has exclusive rights to the NFL. God forbid another company making a better product. What a ripoff!!!!!
If I wanted to play a game as good as Madden 2005, I would have bought Madden 2005! This game is going back to the store. The passing game is broken...You wanted to do something cool? How about adding the VIP feature tha... Read Full Review

Great Game
Great Game! I really like the Vision and Precision passing. It takes some getting use to but I think it really delivers the feel of having to first - read the defense, 2nd - know your receivers routes and where you nee... Read Full Review

If you loved 05 then you will love this. Madden will always be the greatest football game in our time.
Well with EA being the only one to make footballs the next few years, a lot of people had no choice but to jump back on the boat. But overall the madden games has always been solid games with great game play. The Gam... Read Full Review
