Do yourself a favor and play this game if you have a chance, it's epic.
Immersive is the least I can say about Ico. An absolutely dark and beautiful well designed game that's just a master piece. I played this game at least 8 years ago and I my jaw just dropped to the ground when looking at ... Read Full Review

Ico is a work of art. Atmospheric, lonely, mysterious - as much about the Castle as Ico or the Princess, its historic!
Ico is a rarity, a game that defies convention every step of the way and fills you with a sense of wonder that few games can muster. To say it is a work of art is all to simplistic since, while true, it doesn't capture ... Read Full Review

As a platform game ICO may not be what you're looking for, but as an art it stands as the best one around.
Since video games were born no one has ever attributed art into it. Of course lots of beautiful games with a high variety of genuine and artistically concepts were created but, none of them achieve a high level of recogn... Read Full Review

in japanese ico means "let's go", which is no doubt a metaphor for this tale of a desire to escape.
ico tells the story of a young boy, seemingly human, but deformed. his village elders consider horns to be a bad omen and embark on a journey to seal the child in a tomb prison in the middle of nowhere. ico is... Read Full Review

I won't go as far as to put ICO on a pedestal but as far as unique gaming experiences are concerned, it's a keeper
I would probably label ICO as the 'most overrated underrated game for the PS2'. I see ICO in almost every single underrated games list written within the past few years and its follow-up, Shadow of the Colossus was a sma... Read Full Review

A good story line with the most disastrous graphics and motion animation ever! I hardly recommend it.
Firstly IGN then gamespot all forced me to buy this freaking title. And what I got was a super boring game which has absolutely no sense! The game has a good story line but gets extremely boring (yeah..you might quit) wh... Read Full Review

"You will be hard pressed to find a game with more heart" "Astounding"
Let me start off by saying that you will be hard pressed to find a game with more heart then Ico. You will fall in love with these characters, and strangely, they rarely speak. Hats off to the animators of Ico- the body ... Read Full Review

Despite it's short length, Ico proves to be a necessary experience.
Ico is a simple game. Simple, yet legendary. You play as a village boy who was outcast to a castle from his village for the accusation of being a demon. Here you meet a girl who was trapped within the castle, and try you... Read Full Review

Beautiful, fun, and moving, from start to finish
But for the love of Yorda, play the PAL version! I've put my rant explaining the situation at the end. Now I've calmed down, let me tell you why this is the best game, and the best experience from computer software, that... Read Full Review
