Hikaru no Go 2 Cheats For Game Boy Advance

1. Additional Handicaps in Free Mode and Survival Mode

   Collect all stones to unlock additional "handicap" layouts in Free Mode and Survival Mode. Weiqi layout each player starts with a stone on opposite corner star points. In Baduk layout each player starts with up to 8 stones (based on board size) occupying each corner.

2. Easy(?) Rank-Up

   Unlock Akira as an opponent in Free Mode. Unlock the 5x5 board. Start a match in Free Mode against Akira with the following options:
   
   5x5 board size
   White
   10.5 komi
   9 stone CUSTOM handicap
   10 minute match
   10 seconds per turn
   No support
   
   You should be able to play the following match, each row labeled alphabetically from A to E and each column labeled numerically from 1 to 5.
   
   W: B3
   B: B2
   W: C2
   B: A3
   W: B4
   B: A2
   W: A4
   B: C1
   W: D2
   B: B5
   W: D1
   B: B1
   W: A1
   
   If the AI plays according to plan, you should get 6500 points, which is more than enough to complete each Rank Up requirement.

3. Stone Get Insurance

   When the Stone Get message displays, if you did get a designer stone that you want, DO NOT PUSH ANY BUTTONS, otherwise it will save the stone to your collection. Instead, turn off the game and then play the match over to retry your luck.

4. Unlockable Designer Stones

   Once a designer stone has been unlocked, it can be randomly won in Free Mode when ranking up or getting the high score; it may also appear in Survival Mode, depending on the difficulty -- some stones are only available at certain difficulties.
   
   Note: Some minor stones can only be unlocked through trades or hacking the game. I call this "The Pokemon Dilemma".
