What Gamespot Users have to say about Halo 3: ODST

Has similar flaws to Halo2. You can't claim it's an SP game with this kind of weak slosh.
The problems with ODST are exactly the same as those that plagued Halo2. The weapons feel weak, ammo is scarce and the campaign storyline is completely lame. I'm sure the MP aspects of this game are great, but I don't re... Read Full Review

Halo at it's best
Halo 3:ODST is one of the biggest hits this fall. After Bioshock 2 and other games were pushed back, the spotlight refocused on this game. Right from the beginning it feels and looks like Halo. You will se familiar sight... Read Full Review

New life added to an old classic. Firefight is very fun and challenging. Worth getting if you like the Halo series.
Great game because it is a challenging game yet still immersive. It's a great addition to the Halo Series yet breathes new life into an old game concept. Firefight is extremely fun and surprisingly challenging. I like mo... Read Full Review

Provides what Halo 3 was missing: a solid and satisfying single-player campaign experience.
I may be a relic in an era of internet-connected game play, but I'm an all-out sucker for a good-old-fashioned single player experience. The first Halo had an amazing single player. Though I had some issues with the st... Read Full Review

....is that it?
Going to start off by saying this is a review of campaign only. I will write another review for multiplayer later on. For months and months now we have been seeing all the great press and teasers showing a game that ... Read Full Review

Love the Game, Hate the Price. I already own 21 of the 24 Maps so Charging Full Price for it is just Wrong.
- First the Bad. The Price is a little unfair to those of us who have Halo 3, Bought all the Map Packs. Basically we get a 6-8 Campaign, Firefight (aka Zombies/Horde), and 3 New Multi-Player Maps. Couldn't they have m... Read Full Review

Definitely an Expansion Pack Game!

Worth every penny as it's MORE than an EXPANSION.
I also notice the majority of haters are not giving detail to their hate. Well let me explain why I believe Halo: ODST is worth what it is. COST: A lot of people are bothered with how you get all the maps that you ... Read Full Review

In charging full retail price for this glorified expansion, Microsoft shows a deep lack of respect for it's userbase.
I've loved the Halo series from the start, it's one of my favourite games of all time. Unfortunately, ODST doesn't do it justice at all as a full game. Not that it's a bad game, it just isn't a game really, more of a glo... Read Full Review
