What Gamespot Users have to say about Guitar Hero World Tour (2008)

    Better than rock band.

This game is great. Great for small groups, big groups, or even solo. If you have ever played rock band, it's very similar, but the instruments are much nicer. The Drums The drums are surprisingly realistic and... Read Full Review

This game is even better than I thought it was going to be...

From gameplay to content, Guitar Hero World Tour is by far the best GH to date, and easily rivals Rock Band 2. First off, the gameplay has been adapted to handle HDTV's very very well, My LCD has no lag at all, and f... Read Full Review

Good, but I feel like I've already played all of it, before I got it.

Guitar Hero, once was my favorite game I bought every single one until I learned that the original developer Harmonix had been moved and Neversoft were taking the reins. I really didn't care and so bought GH3 which I had... Read Full Review

Best instruments released to date for ANY game, combined with a SOLID setlist, make World Tour worth hittin the road!

This is my first review ever for anything, so hopefully that speaks to how I strongly I feel about this game. First off, I'll mention this. I'm a HUGE Rock Band fan, so you won't get any GH fanboy bias here. Simply ... Read Full Review

Simply Put: Play it for yourself first.

Okay, Guitar Hero World Tour is just about as much as Rock Band WAS. You have a career mode, both single and a band career. The customization is ridiculous, in a good way. A very good way. There are so many things that y... Read Full Review

    Best in the Series

this game is the best guitar hero game but i wouldn't call it guitar hero now that you can sing, play the drums, and the guitar it should be called ''band hero'' :). But serioulsy, one of the biggest problem of this game... Read Full Review

    Awesome game!!

This game was totally worth the wait! It is much better than rock band 1 and 2 in both gameplay and instruments....also for some reason I never liked the rectangle notes in RB. I'm not really going to talk about which ... Read Full Review

Too little too late? GHWT brings little to the table, and much of it has already been broughten.

Not much new here, except for the MIDI song designer (but of course, no renditions of existing titles are allowed, so not a whole lot to look forward to there). The "battle" mode is a bit more forgiving than in GH3, and... Read Full Review

They made it a lot better than 3, and that was amazing.

This game is just generally amazing, Ive had it for two hours now, and I think it is safe to say this is one of the greatest games I have ever played. I havent tried the vocals yet, so i cant really say anything about th... Read Full Review
