Described in only two words, pure fun

Guitar Hero 3 is a game that would be enjoyed by nearly ANY music lover. It's really confusing actually, I really don't understand why Guitar Hero is fun, but I guess that I just have to accept the fact that it is. Some... Read Full Review

its good....but not as good as the second

i was playing it today with friends..and yes it is good...but the games hammer-ons were bugging me a lot... it feels like its a step towards the first where hammer-ons were terrible....Guitar Hero 2's hammer-ons were ter... Read Full Review

"Fresh new Track list" but the game lacks in many areas

Great game- nice change of pace from earlier guitar heros but nowhere near the ROCK BAND. Rock band is a growing game---new songs downloaded are added to your career---which you start by creating your Avatar. Guitar H... Read Full Review

New features are great, but there are other things that concern me...

Gameplay wise, it plays almost the same as the previous Guitar Hero's. Notes come flying from the top of your TV, and once they hit the bottom, you hit the frets on the guitar. Pretty simple. However, this time, the song... Read Full Review

    Guitar Hero III

great concept with the boss battles but poor implementation. some of the music could have been better. there is no way that the developers could tell me with a straight face that disturbed and slipknot qualify as legen... Read Full Review

    Amazing.....so close to being perfect.

I've been looking forward to this game for a long time and I feel it has lived up to the hype. I have found that the hammer-on and pull-off system has become a little easier. The thing about that is the songs I feel n... Read Full Review

only beef i have is with the boss battles on expert. otherwise, amazingly great game.

so basically, you're playing the game on expert, and doing great. not failing any songs at all. but then you get to a boss battle, and you have to "battle" against a computer opponent that doesn't miss any note... Read Full Review

After fixing the lag problem, game was really fun and addictive.

When I first started playing GH3, I was surprised at how bad the visual lag was, and I thought that at first I had a faulty guitar controller. It was almost unplayable in the fast parts, and seemed very unresponsive. I w... Read Full Review
