Fails to match the Monolith games but not a terrible entry into the franchise
FEAR 3 is an average shooter from Day 1 studios, the developers who brought FEAR to consoles. With some guidance from Monolith, Day 1 has created a sequel with a co-operative focus. During the campaign you are once again... Read Full Review

F3AR offers many gameplay experiences, and a solid single player experience; but like a summer movie, nothing amazing.
F.3.A.R. is one of those games that tries a bunch of different things and does all of them well, but no single aspect stands out as particularly great. FEAR 3 (I'm not going to keep typing that complex acronym) can't b... Read Full Review

more or less disappointed in this game, as a long time fan of the F.E.A.R. series
i was severely disappointed in the lack of anything creepy in fear 3. Fear 2 wasn't as creepy as FEAR 1 in my opinion (or maybe its just because i was younger at the time the first FEAR came out, and relatively new to th... Read Full Review

Not scary, but the good atmosphere and solid shooting mechanics make it an excellent addition to the franchise.
Unfortunately the FEAR franchise has lost that aspect of terror that made the first one so good. I believe that this is because the fear of the unknown, that was so prevalent in the first game, has been lost. The reason ... Read Full Review

ahh so so, it gives you something to do between classes.
What is the dexterity section? There is one Alma doll that is so totally out of reach and the majority of them must be in the tower or on a different skill level. Collecting the links from the dead bodies is the easiest ... Read Full Review

Not as scary as the others in the series, but still great.
I have been a fan of the F.E.A.R. series since the first one released. The main thing I loved about F.E.A.R. was the horror elements. F.3.A.R. is not really scary at all, but is still an amazing shooter that should be pl... Read Full Review

There's nothing to fear. At all.
After dragging myself through the mediocre but highly playable 'F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin' back in 2009, I had insanely low expectations for the sequel, although I didn't expect it to be this bad. Let's get the positive... Read Full Review
