Galaga legions is the first squeal to galaga and uses more of a strategy type gameplay and shooter but may be difficult.
The positive part of Galaga legions that you can change the skins from new age to old school and that the difficulty is very hard so that you can work on mastering level 2 longer to advance to the next level and the lack of levels this game has and what is called more gameplay time. For most people it seems that no one can get past level 2. The colors graphics and music are entertaining and not so repetitive unless your stuck on levels 1 and 2. The new interface is cool too.They also kept with the game over and start from level one again tradition like most arcade games.
The negative part of galaga legions is that its Very Hard and that there are only 5 levels and no multi- player which is replaced with championship that can be like multiplayer with scores but not like the classic multiplayer mode we all love in the classic galaga. Championship might be better since all 5 levels are there,(spoiler), and you need xbox live if you want to compete with your scores.
If you really want Galaga legions you should think about it before buying it. Try the demo first and see what you think. This game may have new upgrades including capturing galaga and the satellite guns, and eye candy graphics but they really should have taken more time to include more levels and lighten up on the difficulty.
