Great Ultimate Muscle game

The whole reason I bought this game was because I was a fan. I imagine the others who bought it were fans too, or were just looking for something different and new with their wrestling games. And UM is all that. The gameplay is like the GCN game, only adding pinfalls. It's basically the same type, but I felt this one was more complete. It felt as if most of the bugs were worked out. The controls were still very good, there was little to no lag between the character and how long ago you pressed the button for that action. However, they took out the create-a-wrestler....but the old one sucked, so it was better that they added more character.s The Sound......not as good music-wise. However, the Voice Actors from the show were all there, and more for those who were never featured in the English anime (Hello Specialman....). From the VA point of view, it was very, very good. But average in the rest of the sounds.....it's kinda average. The Graphics, unlike the GCN, are more realistic and not cell-shaded. I thought nothing suffered in the transition, and actually looked better. That's just me. The A.I. can be cheap at times though, but all you need to do is be cheap back, really. So it kind of evens out. There is tons of replay value here. With over 40 characters, 999 figures to collect, and some different ring types, the fun is there. Hey, I loved UM for PS2. You might, you might not. But I suggest you rent it first to decide if this game is for you. Later Days.
