G1 Jockey 3......best horse racing sim out, but needs some improvements to be even better. I give it an 8/10.

This game will bore you to tears.....if you don't love horse raing. You better by something else. However, if you're racing mad like me, this game is really quite good. The horses look realistic and the gameplay is addictive and challenging. Winning is like a game of cat and mouse. You have to time your move accurately in order to beat the other horses without getting too tired yourself. It's really fun and caputures the essence of racing superbly. The sounds are pretty good too, especially when you're running over soft or heavy ground in the rain. This is a must for all racing fans.

Although it is good, it does need some improvements. First, the tracks are all the same oval shape apart from one. Also: not enough jumps races, tracks too small, other horses never fall, bushes, stadiums, crowd are poorly aminated, no jump races over 3 miles +, no betting, no watching other races and the menus are fustrating. It's not easy to plan races for your horses as you have to keep switching between screens.

I'm looking forward to G1 Jockey 4. I hope it adds these improvements.

Best horse on g1 J3 is Piesendel's chaser Wavy Tumbler. This one is really tough and can gallop forever!!!!
