Quite a surprise compared to the first game.

I wasn't really expecting this game to offer more than the first one. I was dead wrong. few hiccups here and there but it was still a fun game. It starts out like the Manga with a bit of a twist to the story, then it drives off into it's own story immersing you deeper into it. What was the biggest surprise for me was the full Voice Acting. It made the story seem more deep, along with the Cell-shaded graphics.
There was a few things that made me almost rage quit; Al running off on his own when you ABSOLUTELY need him to progress the level. Not being able to turn while attacking was another little issue that made me a bit irritable in boss battles.
All in all I had a lot of fun with the game, it was really neat to see that Square-Enix improved it so much over the first game. Although it really wasn't necessary to throw in a pre-lude to the third game... Which never came out over here.
I recommend picking this little gem up if you find it and are a fan of the series
