Since it seems doubtful Bandai will release this here with more and more One Piece games coming out in Japan ill throw my two cents in.

Basically if you're reading this you're well aware of what One Piece is and about. The game is almost like Power Stone, except most of the game is done in 4 player split screen type view and everyone works in teams of two. There are different mini-games to play through, but the main one revolves around stealing a treasure chest back to your ship and keeping it long enough til your ship gets back to get booty (which is a One Piece trading card to open up more spoils).

Problem is though the game faces many problems. The four player party basically lags when there's a fight between everyone. The characters never play on an equal playing field (especially when you open up Mihawk and Shanks). The camera is truly pain in the ass (it's basically same button as blocking to adjust the camera and when you block, it rarely helps). Not to mention opening every one player min-game and character is a pain in the ass since you must do it through collecting random treasure chests and often youll keep getting the same damn card so youll have to beat the game multiple among multiple times. Not to mention a little more variety in the levels or options would've helped the game greatly. Not to mention once the opponent gets the treasure chest (especially in two player mode) it can be an uphill battle if they have a strong enough character.

Besides that though, what is good? It's One Piece dammit. A good amount of characters are in the game all with their own original moves and super moves. Not to mention the super move animations are well done (considering the first few times). Though some of the mini games, you wish just got more spotlight. One of those being Pirate Soccer. If it had more options and different fields and such, i could just love the game for that alone. The controls aren't bad either, but it seems like camera controls weren't a main issue for them so it seems semi half-assed but still responsive.

So in short, if youre a One Piece fan try and get it. If not, well hope you have a friend who has it so you can try Pirate Soccer.
