While some levels and modes have been removed, From Russia With Love is still a fun game.

User Rating: 7.5 | From Russia With Love PSP
From Russia With Love for the PSP is one of the harder games to rate that I got. On one hand, it's got great graphics, a good control scheme, and fun modes. On the other hand it's got no multiplayer, a VERY short career mode, and does nothing to capitalize on the shooter genre.

So I had to do my review fairly and I think I did a good job.

From Russia With Love has an eye-catching menu, good graphics, and simplistic controls that work.

PRESENTATION: 8/10

The graphics are very pretty, with great character models (some are repetitive though), good cutscenes, and stable framerate.

GRAPHICS: 8/10

The game's story mode is VERY short, shorter than the short console experience. A few levels have been removed (the driving and boating ones), but it still retains the fun feel with its smooth controls.

GAMEPLAY: 7.5/10

There is good voice acting (except from Sean Connery, who is WAY too old to be voicing Bond again, I can never understand a word he says) and some good sound effects.

SOUND: 7.5/10

There is limited choice to the single-player affair, local-only multiplayer, and very short career mode. It's a fun experience while it lasts, and you may want to replay it again to unlock more stuff, but its a short experience.

LASTING APPEAL: 7/10

The game is a very fun, yet short game that is VERY overlooked. Try it out, because it has some of the easiest-to-learn shooter controls on the PSP system. If only it was longer and more difficult, it might be able to rival the Syphon Filter games. Sadly, it wasn't. Still, I highly reccomend it to anyone looking for simple fun.
