It's one of those games that you see cheap in bargin buckets in shops. But you may want to avoid it if you can.

User Rating: 5 | Frogger Helmet Chaos PSP
For most people who have played through games from the 80's up to now or your into KONAMI games. Frogger has come along way through history with it's 2D style puzzles and you may reconise most puzzles from frogger which have also been in other games.

With the newest version Helmet Chaos which is on DS and PSP. Story is pretty basic from other platformer games like the old Sonic games. This evil Crocodile scientist named Dr. Wani who has putten these's mind control helmets on animals in the swamp on thier heads and follow there commands. Frogger finds out what is going on and discovers that his friend Lumpy was controlled by one of those mind control helmets. Frogger smashes the helmet and discovers that he has to stop Dr Wani and save his friends.

Gameplay= The conrtols can be a bit fiddly when you first start because you would have use the L and R to turn Frogger clockwise or ani-clockwise. There some ledges which require you to leap across but once you get the jist of it you try to get across no problem until you get to a point you accidently fall in the water or lose health really quick. Some puzzles your useing Frogger's tounge to pull or drag objects and swing across to get to the other side, mainly thinking of a kid's version of Indiana Jones if you think about it on certain puzzles. Bosses are easy you take care of your just avoiding enimie's movements and then attacking them with your tounge.

Graphics and Sound= Cutscenes are set as a comic book like story. The game has one good thing which is the 3D colourful graphics no matter where you went the graphics look nice for an old 2D platformer back in old days. Voicing is well just basic voicing which you would hear in other platformer games. Music can be repetative on certain levels you may get sick of the same music every time you either die or mess up along the way.

Overall= It can either take you up to 10 hours or less beating Frogger, but if you have friends who own a PSP there are Wi-Fi mini games which you can play againts others if you wanted too. You can also play through the 1981 Arcade version of Frogger which is more of an upgrade version on graphics but nothing new. If you see this game cheap in a bargin buckets in shops it's one of those games you may want to avoid.
