The Xbox's Gran Turismo.
Forza Motorsport's graphics for the most part are pretty solid. The car models look fantastic and realistic at the same time. Even the scenery looks great. Unfortunately the main problem with the graphics lies in the lack of detail and depth for the road and grass surfaces. This lack of detail and depth makes these surfaces seem rather plain as they don't look as good as they should have.
Forza Motorsport's gameplay is very solid and feels almost perfect. Each car handles differently and responds differently than each car which helps to add to that sense of realism. On top of that each car can take damage and the damage models look almost dead on. However players don't seem to be able to fully total their car like they would in real life with some of the crashes they may get into. Players would be wise to purchase a steering wheel to use with this game as it really helps to add a sense of immersion with the game.
Forza Motorsport's audio is exceptional and is very good. Players can set the audio up so that the music track that they're listening to continues' playing even after they finish a race and are in the main menu. This is a first for games and very welcome one at that because it almost gives players the illusion that they're using a MP3 player hook up with the game instead of listening to the games audio or the music on their Xbox.
Overall Forza Motorsport is a fantastic game that anyone who likes car racing or is looking to the racing type a try should definitely pick up and add to their collection.
