Some may call it the reincarnation of Gran-Turismo for X-box but, in all actuality this game speaks for itself...

The first thing to notice when starting up Forza 3 is unfortunately the long loading times. However this setback is quickly forgotten once the first race start. Even before starting the crisp graphics shine above, almost if not all other, racing games. The smallest details like hood ornaments and antennae have been exacted and even perfected. All environments from urban test tracks to mountainous extreme circuits look astonishingly realistic and clean. No noticeable pixelization is present and all cars have a shining gleam.

The controls are simple but precise. Features like auto-braking and stability control rule out the use of some controls unless turned off. Otherwise the acceleration is responsive and braking is quick. The shifting can be switched from auto to manual for a much increased challenge (At least for me). Other-wise the handling is fantastic no matter what camera angle you have it set to. Cockpit view is usually fun unless you have a car with a small cockpit or steep hood.

The greatest advantage and disadvantage to this game could quite be the number of cars. Over 400 to be precise and counting. This although adds replay value also makes it very hard to pick one in free play or, especially, when buying one. Then you have new feature like the rewind feature. Which is good although it makes the game immensely to easy. It can be irritating when it rewinds much farther back than you wanted. Also there is an online auction house which is great and useful if you get a good deal but not if your on the selling end.

Finally we get to customization on your bought cars. It is very realistic in costs(almost too realistic) and has a good selection. By your self it can be overwhelming which is why auto-upgrade is there to make the decisions for you, thus optimizing your car. The colors are endless and the outcome will not disappoint.

So overall the game is just right for anybody from rookie racers to Nascar drivers and includes anything(and every car) you will ever need to experience a good driving simulation.
