Ahead of Gamescom this morning, M.Nelson posted juicy news on his site. XOne is soon getting support to play DLNA media files from the network or a USB device. Great news, and I just hope you can play this stuff in the background without having to snap it on the side

Major Nelson PR...hmmm.

Another announcement about an upcoming announcement.

I'll just wait for the proper announcement whenever DLNA is released. :)

@slimdogmilionar: Regardless, this feature is in high demand. For me, I'm more interested in being able to play my own music while playing a game, hopefully this official confirmation pretty much confirms it, but not quite, as they have not really explained how the new media player will work.

OK Pro-Xbox guy and Anti-negative (lul) PS/Nintendo anything person.

BTW: Anti-Negative is a double negative, but I used it for lulz effect. That's better-gud English, Great Job!! ;)

As I've stated for many years, I am just not a fan of "announcements of announcements" for any company. I've stated this before regarding EA, Activision, and other companies. I am pleased they are trying to get DLNA done, but I don't care until it's officially ready to be released.

This gets me thinking on what kind of poster you are since you seem to think you know what kind of poster I am (as well as other users). Many of your posts, like the one above, are OFFTOPIC. You usually stray from posting on a topic and spend most of your time trolling and flaming users than answering questions.

That's super-fanboy/troll behavior. You should work on that.

What's your gamertag? I doubt you own an Xbone, but I can prove I game on my Xbone and 360 with my Gamertag and my score of 125,000 Gamerscore. I game A LOT on Xbox!!! Like usual, you remain quiet on your Gamertag because either you have a low score or you still don't own an Xbone.

Do you even own either? I would be scared to prove your Gamertag and Gamerscore now that I showed my high Xbox score, I understand why you won't share. It's scary to be called out on being a fanboy.
