What torments do you actually see in Dante's inferno

Okay I know that the game Dante's inferno, is basically the book come to life, with some artistic liberties. However I am interested in knowing what kind of torments you actually see in the game? For example i have just entered the gate of hell and there is these walls of the dammed with people in them and also a giant demon headed with bodies spewing out of them. And also people on fire raining from the sky. As I said I've am only so far in the game that I have just entered the gate of hell and haven't seen much yet. Don't have time to play it the next couple of days, but could you please tell me, what kinds of tortures you see throughout the various circles of hell? I mean even if its just going on in the background. Anything you can think of really
