Titanfall is pretty amazing.

So I made the trek out to Tokyo for Tokyo Game Show and got some hands on time with Titanfall. The game does indeed live up to the hype it has been getting. I only got 15 minutes with the game, but the mechs, jumping mechanics, and weapons were all fantastic. My only complaint is that it was way too hot in the convention hall.

Not surprising at all, given who is developing the game. They are masters of their craft.

I don't think I will own an Xbox One by the time this game gets released (won't have the extra money) so I will probably end up getting it for my PC, but it sounds like it will be awesome on both platforms.

no doubt it looks awesome. now im wondering wether i wait to get it on pc, buy it on the 360 or wait til there is a price drop for xb1

Fine, when I was done working I hung out with the team and played the game with and against a bunch of people from all different companies, we spent hours just calling our giant robots to stomp on people and then those robots would be taken down by swarms of soldiers on foot. Each match was 15 mins and we spent a few hours playing and never got sick of it.

They have balanced the gameplay so that when you're by yourself or when you're three stories tall it never feels lieke one side has an advantage.

how about the controller?  ive heard the x1 controller feels cheap?

I have heard nothing but praise when it comes to the new controller, and given that the 360's controller is a masterpiece compared to all others, I would be very surprised if the new one isn't even better (which almost everyone is saying it is).

how about the controller?  ive heard the x1 controller feels cheap?  and was it actualy running on an x1 or a pc with an x1 controller?  if so tell me about the graphics too.

The systems they were running on were in closed cabinets, so I can't comment if it was running on PC or Xboxone. However, given that the game is still likely the 6-12 months out, it looked great.  The lighting, shadows, art all seemed next gen to me. The textures are the on;y thing I would say are average at this point, but I am sure that will change by the time the game is released. I also can't comment on the controller either as they had us playing on 360 controllers. 

i don't get the whole Titanfall thing. I am not hyped for it at all. I am looking more to Destiny and Battlefield 4. But that is just me perhapsThe_Last_Ride
