stupid plug and play charge kit ! UHHHHH

omg, i have stopped using this for around 2 weeks, going with batteries for some stupid reason, now i tried to use it again, but i have been charging it for around 6 hours now through pc USB, the red light is still after 6 hours and i heard that it only takes less then an hour to charge, whats wrong, by the way, the thing is super hot!

Its probably broke. Same thing happens with my friends. I suggest just buying a quick charge kit or buying a new one.

it does work, but the light is still on (red ) and its hot!

The QCK is the way to go. A battery is included.

You're not supposed to use regular batteries, and the kit does not charge in less than an hour. My kit charges in 4 hours when I'm not using it, but when I'm using it the kit can take over 7 hours.

It sounds like the battery may have "kicked the bucket".  If it's hot and it is still not yet fully charged then I would take it off charge ( just incase it explodes or something ), give it a rest, check if the charge did anything ( could be a problem with the light ) reconnec and see what happens.  If the battery was fully charged it should have stopped charging, if the battery is hot then there is obviously something wrong.

quick charge is where its at. charges 2 batteries at once and takes about an hour for charge (mine have never died while playing, and i put them on probably once every 2 weeks for an hour or so) and i play probably 15 hours on that controller before i charge it.
