I Did, put 5 bucks down today at EB Games as I also went over to Best Buy picked up a copy of Halo 2 for 20 bucks (i missed out on the Xbox) Yea I enjoyed Halo 1 alot, I already know I may be disappointed with Halo 2 somewhat but its such a great game im sure i will be fine with it. So yes I preordered Halo 3, how about you?
why not? im making sure i get a copy, sure its like 10 months away lol but still, im gonna putt he reciept in a special place and get it on release day.
Where I live I dont have to worry about that Ill probably get the Legendary Edition on launch day. I got Halo 2 on launch day and they had hundreds still when I went to get it, so Im not worried.
haha when I pre-ordered my 360 in August 2005 my EB games manager convinced me to pre-order it. I looked at him and said "dude it hasn't been officially announced or anything". He replied "you know it's coming out and you know you will want it". I couldn't argue with that logic lol. So I have had it pre-ordered since then but I just changed it to a Legendary the other day.

Peer Pressure...Pshhh. i will just wait plus why pay 100 bucks for legendary. Oh now it comes with an extra disk and a cat head sized masterchief helmet. OMG now you could pretend to play halo in real life with your cat. OMG

Why make fun of it? Some people enjoy collecting stuff like that. The helmets are supposed to be serialized and everything, so they will actually be like a collectors item. Like you don't own anything that someone else could make fun of? I personally reserved the Legendary Edition as well, and I haven't even decided if I want to keep it or not. If there are going to be as little of them as the people around my gamestop were saying I'm sure they will have the potential to sell for quite a bit on ebay.

i agree. may sound lame to some of you but Halo is one of my favorite "things" i guess you could call it. i love playing guitar, vw's, and other certain hobbies, Halo is one of them for me. i think its all in the eye of the beholder. im psyched to have it. sorry for double posting too.
No but I'm tired of the gamestop employees constantly asking me if I want to reserve it.. No I tell them, well what about this game No I tell them, well what about this game No I tell them, well what about this game etc.. etc.. you get the idea.
