OK so when i go to go play online in player matches not ranked and when i wanted to have a partner play with me he would always have to sign in on a completley different account that i would have to make up but when people are chossing teams it shows a gamertag and theres another one with the same gamertag but it has like the number two beside it or something, so how do i play with two people on player mathches on the same gamertag?

you just sign the other person into your gamertag thats all.
yea man, your CAN NOT sign your friend in until you go to the player match screen. click player match, and then before you go to custom or quick match hit Y button. im kind of unsure what happens from their, i think you will click on your own name, and from their go to sign in as guest.
If you have 2 xbox live gold accounts on one system then I think you're forced to use the two separate accounts. This confused me when I first got my 360...I made two accounts (have a brother) and they both had the 1 month free gold account. After the month expired for both accounts and got my one-year subscription for just one of the accounts, then I was able to have my brother play as a guest with the same account.
I'm not 100% sure though...maybe it was just a coincidence that I figured it out after the 1-month free gold expired.
