can you save your games with out a hard drive(new xbox gamer)

im buying a xbox 360 next week but im buying the core, its only 400$ au! but it doesnt come with a freaking hdd, so does this mean i cant put on movies and music and save all do all that stuff? some one plz help me here.
also can you buy different hdd drives or is there just one designed especially for xbox 360

you can but a 360 64Mb memory card,but yeah... you cant use USB harddrives. just the memory card and the 360 hdd

Well you have to either have a mem card or hdd.

get the premuim, it's def. worth it.
but if you are stuck on getting core, you will not be able to play regular xbox games, will not be able to download movies, demos, trailers, or put music on your 360.
