When I turn on the Xbox I get the screen & can hear everything. The problem though is that there is a black box on the screen. I have the same problem w/ the PS2, but not the Wii & all 3 are hooked up to the same TV. Anyone know how to fix this???? http://s306.photobucket.com/albums/nn278/sep780/?action=view¤t=downsize.jpg for a picture

Make sure under settings you set the Xbox 360 to your TVs native resolution.

It could be your tv to be honest. How old is your tv? I used to have a pretty old one where there was a setting that would add a black box like that, which you could move around, adjust and assign to channels if I recall correctly (the hell if I know why).

If it's only doing it when when you power the console on, I have no clue.
