Are 360 controllers supposed to be this noisy?

Recently purchased (a week ago) a regular wired 360 controller for my pc so I could play some racing games better, however after unpacking the thing today its so friggin loud. The buttons on the right side are the ones causing all the noise, especially when you have that rumble thing enabled in games. It's so loud I can hear it through my headphones when I'm gaming, and I can't even hear my pc right next to my head when it's on full blast with 7 case fans and 2 gpu fans when I have headphones on ..

Here's a video http://youtu.be/w6Pe2g4HKbg

I had a wireless some 6-7 years ago when I purchased a 360 and I don't recall it being this noisy. At least I don't think so.

I've had 2 xbox 360 controllers in the 6 years I have had the machine and never had any problems with noise from the controllers.

So there are a few possibilities.

First is there is something loose in the controller.

You can open it and see what it is.

I've done it before, sometimes little plastic pieces fall and raddle.

The second is that the bottoms or anything else is loose and banging against the plastic.

@Evdne971: As far as I can tell, only the buttons are loose and rattling. I'll open it up and see what the deal is. If it cant be fixed, I'll just throw it in the bin and grab a PS3 controller instead.
