Xbox 360 shouldn't be on its side?

Does it brake or something if this happens?

it doesnt matter how you keep your xbox360 sitting, but the smart way would be on its side, if standing vertical make sure nothing hits it or there goes your disc

the only thing that's cause for concern is if you move the 360 while it's on.

If its vertical it blocks the fan on the bottom. That may cause problems i dont know.

I don't think it really matters wether you keep it horizontal or vertical. I guess it depends on the person and the 360's living condtions. Since I have a cat and a 2 year old just to be safe I keep it horizontal. I don't want to risk and accidents.

its sorta of a double edged sword...on the side less ventalation, but setting up strait it could fall and possible scratch a game...and sometimes even if it doesnt fall... =S

I never saw a reason to stand it vertically...just seems so unstable.

I feel the same way.  After paying $400.00 for a hi-tech piece of electronics, I want to minimize any kind of risk as much as possible.

I actually stand my PS3 vertically. I know, call me crazy. If 600 dollars would somehow tip over one day, it would also fall off of the dresser.
