Just got a xbox 360 with a hdmi port. Plugged the cable into ports on tv and xbox but the xbox does not give me an option to display in anything above 480p!!

Ca anyone give esomehelp/advise please?

refer to u TV manual there might be something u have to do with ur tv

My xbox is only connected to a SDTV and it comes up with all the options, 1080p, etc. You might need to update it or something.
