Hello all,

I was given an Xbox 360 Arcade (2009 model) for Christmas and I noticed that the DVD drive in this one is far louder than the one I had in my 2007 model. To be honest, it sounds broken but it's been reading all of my discs perfectly; loud, but no actual problems. Should I worry? Here's the link to my video.

oh i thought u meant the sound it makes while reading discs cuz my xbox is effin loud lol.

but no it sounds fine to me.. im pretty sure everyone else is loud like that too and u have to expect that with a drive that expands out rather than an inserted drive like the wii and ps3 have

I had those grinding noises for years without a breakdown. You're probably okay for now.
