Would Killzone 2 ever come to xbox 360 ?

You thought about this for two years? If you just starting thinking with how Sony owns the rights to the franchise you could have saved yourself allot of time.

They paid Guerilla, who didn't have the money, to make Killzone. With that payment they also bought the rights to the franchise right off the bat.

Unless Sony wants to dig their grave deeper and start releasing their highly anticipated exclusive game on a rival console, I say no.

Devil May Cry 4, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil 5, GTA IV... to name a few that sony let go. i really don't think they have much of a problem digging their own grave. you act like KZ 2 coming to the 360 would be unprecedented, a move that a sane sony couldn't, nay wouldn't, make. unless sony owns the rights (they might i don't know) there is a small chance that KZ 2 might make a release on the 360. don't give up bud!!

p.s. devil may cry 2 was sooooo lame, why would they make a 3rd or 4th? killzone had some solid gameplay, the game was let down by an army of minor problems (no jumping, bad story, just for a couple). however, it was one of the better shooters for the ps2 and established a group of followers. the potential was there, maybe it will deliver in the sequel.

They not only own the rights to Killzone 2, they own the rights to the entire franchise of Killzone. They paid a pretty much bankrupt Guerrilla Games a whole lot of money so they could make Killzone. They also bought the rights with thay payment. Even if they didn't own the rights, I don't think any developer would screw over the company that gave them millions to create games and get them back up on their feet.

At least, not within a couple of years.

I also believe they bought Guerrilla Games all together, but I'm not sure about that.

Actually, Killzone wasn't that bad. I have it. It's a fun game. Considering the developers are rookies with big titles it's actually very good for a first try. It just had some context problems.

No jumping wasn't the issue. But whenever you wanted to jump over a ledge (like in Gears, you can't jump but you can jump over obstacles) there was a context problem where 5 out of 10 times it didn't recognize you were at the obstacle and you couldn't jump over it. The story was also slim (like Gears). The AI wasn't very spectacular but not bad either.

Just some problems with the game design that made it avarage. Otherwise it would have been a great game.

yeah the first one wasnt that great, but to answer ur question. why wouldnt u want the second one? i mean it looks pretty awesome to me, and the graphics imo are maybe a little better than gears. i know graphics arent everything but DAMN this game looks pretty nice. but good thing i have both systems so i get the best of both worlds. btw bioshock is so amazing, words dont do that game justice, lol thought id throw that in there

Killzone 2 will be Sony's answer to Halo3 despite it being released next year. So get it out of your head man. It ain't gonna happen.
