Worth bothering with Gears 2 online? (new to Gears of War)

Hey all, I was thinking of finally getting into gears of war (just got a 360 a few weeks ago) and just saw on gamestop's site how cheap they are seperately. Though, there is the bundle that includes the DLC maps for Gears 2. That's like double the price, and basically, is it even worth getting into the online for Gears 2 or should I just save that for Gears 3 when I eventually get it (note, I currently have Halo 4 for my online, so that will probably be what I play for online).

I haven't played much of Gears 2 online modes but I think the general consensus is that it has the worst multiplayer of the 3.

Definitely agree with the two above me. You are not gonna miss much if you skip the multiplayer. Now if you are achievement hunting then thats a different story...

Nope don;t touch Gears 2 online. If anything Gears of war 3 was made so new comers can play with ease. Gears of War 1 is a fun one also.

Gears 2 had the worst online in the series. Gears 1 had great online but I doubt anyone is playing it. If you wanted to play Gears online I would just get gears 3.

The triple pack is 30$, if you bought both games seperately it would only be 8$.

The DLC isn't really worth it at this point.

This is a good idea as it really is a good series. I tired of MP though with GoW2.
