All games do now upscale to 1080p. It's not quite as good as being made in 1080p, but it does eliminate a lot of the jaggies in games.Endgame_basicthey make games in native 1080p now also check my previous post

Umm, I know and it's 1 game. That doesn't change my statement
You won't see too many graphically intensive games made in 1080p simply due to the power requirements. It takes a lot more processing power from the cpu and gpu to render at 1080p over 720p so I think except for games which aren't graphically intensive we won't see too many native 1080p games. We alrdy see lots of tearing in some graphically intensive games (GRAW2, Lost Planet, etc) so this suggests that these games are already pushing the 360 as V-sync would be enabled if they could do it without sacrificing fps.Â
Unlike the PS3, the 360 has an internal scaler. So, whether a game is rendered for 1080 or 720 scanlines is much less of an issue for 360 owners. HDMI will have no impact on which resolution devs target. OldFart1968that ANNA chip is only analogue there were pics of a HANA chip, that it digital, so in other words the signal is much clearer, i dont see why ms would make a new console and not include this, as far as i kno noting other than the HDMI has be changed, theres no new DVD-ROM drive, no HANA chip, no new 65nm CPU, why pay so much for HDMI when not a lot of the population of HDTV owners have HDMI tv's

Wrong. Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3 is now mastered in 1080P native per Tecmo on N4G.com, IGN.com, & 1UP.com. That's as "graphically intense" as your gonna get. Per Tecmo, NGS is the 1st game to have 1080P & real time shadowing at the same time.
You gotta assume Ninja Gaiden 2 for the 360 will be mastered in 1080P as well. Gotta luv Team Ninja.
