i think because all of the 12 year olds went to cod4.... i am playing that u hear 12 year olds scream and swearing thier asses off. think that they r all cool
I use one I just always have it on mute. As other people have stated there are way too many little kids on it trying to trash talk. I'm sorry but this is how I unwind after a long day of work, I don't need it ruined by little kids trash talking me.
I leae my mic on mute as well, too many A$$ holes trying to be cool on LIVE. Actually, some are probably older than 13, i run into mor e18+ year olds acting like king of the world.
Agreed, I usually only use my mic for talking with friends mostly. A lot of guys on there are just idiots saying "owned" and "pwned" and so on. Pathetic, get a life! Is what I say, you just know they're overcompensating ;) hahaha.
thankfully when the fall update comes around, you can now just talk with friends and NEVER HAVE TO HEAR ANNOYING PEOPLE EVAR AGAIN....unless there are some rare cases i am missing
I have noticed a large decline in people using their mics in halo. I still use mine and I still think it's good when you can communicate with your team but I'm getting really tired of hearing the idots who just scream into their mic when they are "owning" or just wanting to tough tough or the young kids screaming at the top of their lungs or pleading and begging their parents to stay on just a little bit longer so they can finish their game.
What ever happened to working as a team and talking normally to eachother?

I actually have it set up, in settings of course, to where I only hear my team. I can't hear the other team at all. It's like a permanent mute on everyone and I don't have to do anything. And on the rare occasion I get a random jerkoff on my team, I'll just mute them too but I try not to because I'd rather work as a team. :)

I use my mic all the time, if i play alone then ill probably juss put the volume on low and occasionally say something but i usually play with 5-6 of my friends so we're all strategizing nd stuff... Although we always get a pack of 12 year olds that get on the "Waaaaaa-mbulance" and start crying over how they juss got owned by us "older people" im 19 btw lol
I get tired of being bombarded by people wanting achievements. It seems like that is the biggest reason people play Halo, whatever Halo's weak anyways.
i play halo on mute and pretend its a bot match. i only use mic with my team on RSV and similar, more team based games. i wish xbox would start an Adult Swim (no not CN, an "adult swim" ) section, with stricter standards on online behavior. you hear that xbox? but if Tim and Eric would like to play, that's ok too.
I only have my mic in when Im in a party. Most everyone in the game(and in Live in general) are douche bags or kids.
I hardly play outside of a party. THe only reason I have in the past month was in order to get the Light switch achievement. I just got it yesterday so I probably wont be playing Halo with out a party for a good long time.
When i play on xblive (which is rare) i use the mic some. games like COD4, Shadowrun, Halo3 (or one of the other 5million FPS) its pretty important to communicate with your squad. BUT sometimes its fun to just to play deathmatch, no teams . but yeah i totally agree that there are too many little kids playing on xbox live.
