I bought an Xbox 360 because of Oblivion. I am making the same thread in the PS3 forums.

You do remember that Oblivion was Pc/360 only right?
I got my 360 simply because it was cheaper than the PS3 (I'll get that next year xmas)
for one, cost...much cheaper. another is it appears the ps3 exclusives arent all they were cracked up to be (lair is a bust and heavenly sword is looking the same), only thing i currently care about that the ps3 offers gaming wise is MGS4 (which i have a feeling will be on 360 someday :P).
XBL also blows away sony's online gaming system.
I bought the xbox 360 in december 2006 because it was everthing I was looking for, it has backwards compatability with my xbox games (traded those in for the new 360), great online (I was afterthesilver subscription only), solid hardware (hey, at least I've not had any problems... yet)......
actually, simply because of price.
playstation 2 was a big let down, i wanted more RPG's. Then I got an xbox, loved it. got into first person shooters. loved halo. microsoft just stole my heart. and no one wanted their games on ps3 so xbox360 hands down was my choicestaticdrow
You wanted more RPGs? So you switched to a console that has almost none? That doesn't make any sense at all.
I planned on getting a PS3 when it came out, but I didn't when I realized it had no good games.Food_Nipple
Likewise
The PS3 may be better then the Xbox, but in the end noone is willing to waist time developing games for it, due to its complexity Not to mention DMC4 is comming to the 360 aswell as the PS3. Thats when I pretty much stopped thinking about buying one
1. becuse it came out first
2. xbox live
3. playstation 1 and 2 have brokendown on me and xbox 1 never brokedown on me
The reasons why I bought a360 and not a ps3.
Better games. ( just check the top games on this site )
On-line play light-years ahead of the competition.
In Denmark you can get 2 xbox360 for the price of 1 ps3......
At some point in the future, when the price is cut in half and a bunch of decent games has emerged. Then maybe... just maybe I'll buy a ps3.
[QUOTE="NavigatorsGhost"]Xbox has Kotor... and there is nothing like that on the PS2 or GameCube. You wanted more RPGs? So you switched to a console that has almost none? That doesn't make any sense at all.

PS2 has like: Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Disgea, .hack etc.
XBox has:KOTOR and Fable.... PS2 was the RPG machine XBox was the shooter machine.
@Topic: I got 360 cause it is cheaper and has more gamesI want.
