the kinect is rumoured to be 150$ but, if you want to buy it might as well buy a xbox360 slim bundle [kinect including] , which is said to be about 400$
I think its to expensive. They will have a high price to make as much money as they can for the people who will buy it straight away then do a heavy price drop to get everyone else buying it.

150$ for kinect that prob can play 2 - 4 players, still cheaper then move if you buy it for 2 or 4 players... but cant say much, here in switzerland its 199 swiss franks but thats a good price.
I don't think I'll be getting it anyways. Just seems to me Microsoft are trying to get more money in without having to release a completly new console.
Compared to the Move, it's a great price. However, I think a price of $100 would be the best. MS could promote it as the much cheaper motion tech and it would really fly off the shelf.

They won't make any new elite's anymore, there'll only be the Xbox360 'slim'. I think the price is fair, it's expensive, but it's pretty innovative, so yeah. Based on the reviews I might get one.
The predicted price is pretty expensive, but my opinion might change depending on how high/low the official price is. Granted, I'm sure it'll still be more than I'm willing to pay for.

I can probably 99% guarantee that it will be over priced. But also that it won't work properly. Microsoft is not known for their expert hardware manufacturing. The xbox 360 took years to get right and probably with the xbox 360 slim they finally fixed the high failure rate. Remember the price of a 360 when it was first released? Like $600 and that was without the hard drive, and with a guaranteed rrod sticker right on the box. Anybody thinking about buying this would be be smart and wait a couple months.
If they price it at fifty to seventy dollars dollars and bundle it with a game that's not shovelware I might consider going to the store to look at it to consider buying it.
The amount of money they want for the hardware is obscene, but they also want to charge £40 for the Kinect games as well. So that's looking to be a good £200 for some fancy peripheral and a game with virtual animals. If it takes off, then people are either stupid, or Microsoft have just gone and done it again .
If that $150 pricing doesn't include a full retail Kinect game, then yeah I think they're really pushing it. Also I think the listed price for Kinect games are expensive too. Hopefully MS finally announces the real prices for these things.

$150 appears to be the official price of Kinect. Both Gamestop and Amazon are listing it at that price, and no mention of any games included. Thanks, but no thanks, Microsoft!
to get all the pieces for ps3's move is around $120, and it essentially turns ur 360 into a wii wiis cost $200 so kinect's price is fair and makes sense
its funny because its trageting towards the teens and kids and i dont know much teen or kids that can afford 150 for animal game or some stupid car game...
I think its a pretty good starting price for Kinect but I honestly thought Microsoft would hammer out a $99 tag. To me $99 would almost make this unit a must own.
Many Xbox 360 owners won't find $150 as much of a wallet blow as those who are new to the Xbox and want Kinect. First you have to buy the system estimated at $299, the Kinect at $150, possibly some HD component or HDMI cable at $20 + and possibly a game at $40-60. All together thats over $500 for most gamers looking to join the Xbox 360/Kinect gaming experience.
Thats going to be a tough sell against the mighty Wii which comes packed with two games for $209.
Get the Kinect down to $99 it will sell a heck of alot better I think.
$99.99 would be the perfect price point especially with Kinect Sports and maybe something else as well. $150 is only $50 less than the console, I will be buying one used for under $100 on eBay if Kinect is over $100 new.
meh im still on the ropes about the price. while i can see the calue in it, i dont think that ill pay 150 bucks for it.....ALTHOUGH HOT DAMN, it would be sweeeeeeeeeet to control my Dash by voice, MAN!!!
