Who here could care less about bioshock 2?

This is not a troll topic, I am not here to poop on you if you enjoy bioshock. More power to ya, if you enjoy, its not a bad game, just very lackluster to me.

I am just seeing who else thought it was quite an overrated game, and will not be blowing 60 dollars for the 2nd installment.

I have mixed feelings abut this game, I love Bioshock but I've always think about leaving it as a stand alone game, but also I'm rather curious about traveling to Rapture again

That's pretty much how I felt. I never really wanted to pick it back up and play again, it sat on my shelf for years until I traded it in for some in store credit.

If I give the 2nd one a try, it would have to be used and at a much cheaper price than half.

why do americans say they 'could care less' when trying to express almost zero interest in something? i mean by saying that implies that you might be interested in it or you

might not...but wait is that the point? myabe im being dense

Ive never heard that saying being used in the UK, we say 'couldnt care less'

anyway to answer youe question im not that bothered about Bioshock 2 compared to ME2, I will get it but when it comes down in price

Just an expression that is engraved in our brains I guess. I usually say don't give a **** but I can't make that my topic on these forums.

I'm sure it will be fun but I don't care much about it. The first one was cool but WAY overrated! I'm looking forward more to BF:BC2, ME2 (TONIGHT!), and Heavy Rain.

I'm not too interested. Bioshock was good on paper, but it seemed to lack certain things. If the second one is known for it's improvements of the first, then I'll definitely pick it up.

never played the first one but only heard good things about it. planning on gettins it one day, still have a bunch of games i wanna play first. the only thing im not liking is the sub title sea of dreams (if thats what it still is, i kno it was at one point), so ill assume there are exploritory water aprts in this game which i hate. had games with water levels especially underwater combat. i havent seen any gameplay videos so idk if there r or rnt but if there is ill pass on it

umm totally disagree...i am currently playin through the first and have to say that so far it is shaping up to be the best single player FPS I have ever played...the environment, story, and uniqueness are second to non...a great game, and a classic...hope the 2nd can live up to the first

if u are one of those ppl that like non stop shootin enemies with no stories or character development than this is not for you...if that is what you like than im sorry about your bad taste in games

I could really care less if the game even comes out. The first one didn't intrest me, and I don't know why people say it was amazing because it wansn't.

I'm surprised more people aren't posting about how great the first one was. I'm generally not a huge FPS fan, I mean, I play Call of Duty, but who doesn't? Bioshock was just a great game and genuinely fun to play. I will at least rent it and maybe buy it used.

I thought the first one was one of the most overrated games of 2007, almost rivaling Halo 3. It's a $50 purchase I'm never getting back. The most unsettling thing would be how the fans complained that 9/10 wasn't high enough and were severely disappointed that the game didn't get a 9.5/10... or even an 11. The first was great, but it was only rental-quality and i might just rent the next one.

Bioshock was an amazing game, but I'm not interested in the new one. The original's story wasn't really conducive to a sequel.

I'm not really looking forward to it at all. Especially since they caved and created a multiplayer mode that might detract from the single player. I made the mistake of playing The Darkness before the first Bioshock, and after that I just couldn't get into Bioshock at all. The Darkness just amazed me, while Bioshock merely felt like a decent fps with some great atmosphere.

Well, I don't care about it on release day. Just not a top priority. When I actually beat the first one and the game sees a price drop, then yeah, I'll give it a shot. I like the first one, but I just haven't finished it because other games have taken preference over it.

I'm getting it but it is probably my least wanted title, out of the others I am getting. The first game had a lot of problems and was barely better than average, this looks like it is making some improvements.

After they announced the multiplayer I stopped getting excited for it. I know there are two developers and all but it still seems iffy to me. I personally thought the first was great though so I will more than likely get the second but just not right away.

I got the first one because of all the hype and I had a friend who kept telling me to get it, but it just wasn't for me. I'm not looking forward to the sequel at all, I'll use that money to get Mass Effect 2.

I for one, am excited for Bioshoch 2. I am worried it won't live up to its predecessor, but it should make a good FPS either way. I pre-ordered it, and so we will see on feb. 9th. In the mean time... MASS EFFECT 2 TOMORROW!!!

It was perfect just being a stand-alone game, they're cashing in and it's a cheap tactic.

I probably won't be buying this one. Renting it, sure.

Personally, I played Bioshock before I played the Darkness, and I loved it! The atmosphere was awesome. Graphics were good as well.

I'm not planning on buying part 2 however, the choice of playing as a Big Daddy just doesn't feel right to me, neither does the multiplayer element.

Rapture rules though, so I might pick it up if it ends up in a Bargain bin ina year or 2.

I know i can. The first game wasn't bad, just not my cup of tea. I kinda laugh at FPS's who try and be serious with a story. I just can't get into a story told from a first person view and i kinda feel it's pointless. like, if you're gonna try and tell a story, just go ahead and let us see the character.
