ps2 and the xbox...wish i had the cube cause then id have the controllers needed to play some of the wiis downloadable titles. now im just waiting to find some pretty cheap...

i had ps2, and gamecube, the launch title for gamecube was ok but then didn't buy anything else til re4 and legend of zelda trilight princes. i mostly played ps2 games.
I owned all three. The Gamecube and Xbox got most of my play time. The Xbox was my sports and shooter console, and the Gamecube served up some masterful single player experiences. I am currently on my third PS2 and now it's acting up. It didn't get as much play time as the other two because of that, and I just wasn't too crazy for a lot of the "must have" games in the PS2 library. This gen I am a 360 and Wii owner. I may pick up a PS3 sometime next year. But have plenty of good games between the two new consoles I have now, and plenty of good ones to come.
PS2, i was suppossed to be getting the xbox with this trade in your ps1 and 10 games blah blah blah. So we came and they siad today was the last day for this deal, and the were no more xboxs, now i was like 9 at the time so i thought noooooo! No other store would have it and so i got the ps2. But now i have a 360 :)
I had all three, got GameCube for Christmas after launch, bought PS2 a few months later after regretting the decision of getting the GameCube, then a few years later my bro gave me his Xbox because he was gonna be in Iraq for a year and a half and the 360 was going to be out when he got back so he didn't need it. But I had the major consoles the gen before that one as well, I like having all the available consoles or at least the major ones it gives me more options when purchasing a game. I got 360 now and I am picking up a PS3 in a few weeks. But I won't be getting a Wii, no games really interest me and I think its just a fad. I was disappointed with the GameCube alot and am not wasting my time with Nintendo again.
had a ps2 first for GTA...played it, then Devil May Cry...game was too damn hard stopped playing it half way through,,,no other games i wanted on the system and everybody else i knew had Xbox, so i tossed it...then felt like an ass when GTA came out on the Xbox a month or two later.
PS2. First I purchased the gamecube, gave that to my younger brother. Then an Xbox, then PS2. God of War was my last game. And then I switched over to PC, played World of Warcraft for nearly 2 years. What a waste of time that was..
I owned both the Xbox and the PS2. I would've bought a Gamecube except there is little to no support for it in any of my local retailers so getting it would've been a waste.
Glad to see Nintendo support is up locally now the Wii's out.
This gen the Playstation is missing out. Initally because it was simply too expensive but now that it's around the same price as my 360 + it's various accessories at the time it came out - well simply because theres too few games out for it to make it worth paying the cheaper, though still too expensive price. I do hope to pick it up eventually. There are games I want to play. Just again, not enough there to make it worth me spending so much money at this point in time.
i had all i bought my ps2 first then my xbox in january of 2004 then i when out of way to get gamecube because of resident evil 4 but didn't get it because i lost interest in the game when my friend said he past it in the first day it came out and got everything in the game after that i wait for gamecube to come out with something intrest when i heard 3rd stop supporting it and only first title i trade it in
i love how no one counts the dreamcast. seriously, it could get all those systems collective butts! anyway, i had dreamcast and ps2ibanezdropd
Oh yeah, i totally forgot, lol. I owned the Dreamcast before all of them. It released 9/9/99 right? My first game was Sonic, and then I bought Resident Evil: Code Veronica. I was a bit sad to see the system go away. And I know some people werent sad either. I waited for Shenmue for a long time, and ended up never getting it. I lost hope from there.
i own all three of them and still ply them all when i feel like it after buying so many consoles i still don't favor one console. i think that they have all been good and some still get my vote.
