whats your worst ending to any game?

I thought Assassin's Creed had an effective ending, perfect set-up for number 2. Sure, it wasn't the /greatest/ but it left you satisfied...atleast more than Bioshock.
Bioshock had a crappy ending, was not impressed.
Personally, anything that doesn't not have some epic, well-thought out cutscene conclusion is ineffective and unsatisfying.
There's a long list...

However it is a technique game developers use to make the players want more, therefore sequels and trequels (not a word, I know) do better. Games that are really cheesy however, Fable, should be stopped!
Final Fantasy games set the par for good endings; have a ridiculous hard boss that makes you exclaim in joy when you finally friggin' beat it, followed by some epic concluding cutscene.

Perfect.

Mass Effect and Bioshock come to mind. The games were great but the endings were TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!MasonB15

Bioshock- First off Atlas was a cake walk and I saved the entire city just to have some Russian scientist say how good I was and how I earned a family....f**k that!

KOTORII: Biggest cliffhanger ever it was a perfect way though to set up a KOTOR III which we will never see because Bioware decided to screw us over by making an MMO

The Original Fable: The last boss was just so bleh!

fallout 3-crappy main quest with an even crappier ending, who thought a slide-show would be satisfying?

i liked fable 2's ending. its nice to get out of that huge final battle cliche from time to time. it was short and to the point. :)

Assassins Creed was acutally a good ending, just go on youtube to go check it out the meaning of the symbols, now Assassin's creed 2 is already in development. The game was just repetitive but I think the ending was honestly the best part, except for the last boss which was bush.

I think Bioshock ended perfect, if anything they shouldve just collapsed the city down along with your character, that would've been perfect but i guess Bioshock 2 is coming so the end of Bioshock is really questionable. Bioshock just should've stayed as ONE game, that one classic game no need of a series.

I never got the endings for halo, never really bothered playing it but isn't it all the same where you kill something then you have to get into that jeep or whatever to get somewhere before time runs out? rofl.

Gears 2's ending was decent, it's understanable so i can't complain about it really but they should've done another boss honestly I think RAAM murdered the "Main boss figure" in Gears 2..

But honestly, worst ending ever... Perfect Dark Zero
A horrible prequel to one of THE BEST SHOOTERS ever, yes Perfect Dark is one of the best shooters ever, IMO; Period.

The ending doesn't even LEAD into Perfect Dark for N64. Infact this games horrible in everyway, they don't even have the same guns, only some but not the ****cs. But still Perfect Dark Zero's ending or the game itself doesn't mention the Skedar, or Eric or Mr.Blonde, which were awsome characters or anythingggggg.

The ending to Klonoa: Door to Phantomile strikes a chord for me.

So you've defeated the big bad, regenerated the world, and saved the girl. What do you get?

It turns out that you don't actually exist in Phantomile, and thus have to be evicted from the world in order for it to live. Cue horrendously sad song and copiously large amounts of tears coming from adorable little critters.

Fallout 3 will take the nod here.

Oh man i cant wait to beat fallout now to see this ending. Assassins Creed made me say wtf for about 3 hours. Fable 2's ending was just wierd. I chose to save my family and dog, i got a letter from my sister, but i cant find her? rightC-Lee

stupidest ending for me was for ninja gaiden.....i was like huh? ( not the 2nd still haven't finished it yet) tht's it? i jsut kill him brek the sword and.......FLY?!?! the game is amazing tho
