What will the cult classics of this generation be?

Come on guys, curious to hear everyone's thoughts on this. For the record, by 'cult classics' I mean games that haven't maybe been appreciated as they should have been when they first came out, and that maybe didn't sell so well - but that years from now will be looked back on really fondly by the people who did play them on release. So, not kind mainstream games (Halo, Gears etc) but the other, smaller games.

I'd like to put forward Enslaved: Odyssey To The West and El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron for consideration first. The former on the strength of the story and writing, the second on account of it's absolutely MENTAL graphical style.

Anyone agree/disagree? Got any others?

Maybe Lost Odyssey. It's pretty popular among hardcore JRPG fans but most people don't recognize it for it's greatness.

Red Faction: Guerilla? Alan Wake? Tales of Vesperia?

I'd say Metro 2033 but it's getting a sequel so perhaps not.

For Xbox 360 Earth Defence force 2017 and Earth Defence force Insect Armageddon, Cromehounds, Splatterhouse. But usually it is RPG, or JRPG's that become cult hits. Blue Dragon.

If we're just talking games that came out on the 360, my picks would be Enslaved, Nier, El Shaddai, Vanquish, Catherine, and Asura's Wrath. Maybe also Mirror's Edge, because this past year I've seen more people talk fondly of it than they ever did around its release.

Funny you should mention Mirror's Edge - I've just started that, and it's awesome. And I was going to add it to this list.
