I only regret buying Sonic. I didn't believe what everyone said about it. Well I learned my lesson. I don't have it no more I think it burst into flames when I put it next to The orange box.
MLB 2K7 - no baseball game will ever compare to MVP Baseball 05. Dead Rising - controls werent that good and missions were annoying - bought for $50 - sold for $7

same thing i do except one time i bought medal of honor airborne for like 15 bucks its worth about that much so im glad i didnt pay full price but it wasnt THAT regretable also the Multiplayer portion of farcry 2 is bad but i like the single
Far Cry 2, Jericho (got it for $20 and still felt ripped off), GTAIV (bought into the hype loved it for a few hours and then wished i just bought an old copy of vice city), Bullet Witch (no Comment), any SvR game, and Dark Sector.
Moto GP '07: Crappy game, and achievements are impossible. Gears 2: Multiplayer, Multiplayer, Multiplayer. King King: Self explanitory. Championchip Paintball: Nowhere near as good as Greg Hastings games.
COD 2 & 3. Both suck IMO. Playing them through on veteran was so ridiculously hard that I haven't even wanted to play them ever again after that. Actually I think I'm going to sell them to someone. Thanks for this thread. It opened my eyes. :)
I have not really bought a game and regretted it since like 07 and that was Lost Planet.. now I just do a LOT of research and look at videos on a game, and KNOW that I will not make the mistake and waste my money on a game before I buy it. So just a good thing to do before you buy a game... KNOW your game first
Virtua Tennis 3.. I bought it b/c it was the first game on 360 that displayed 1080p. It was not good at all! And by looking at all of your comments i don't think i'll even think about playing far cry 2 or fear
whaaaaaat? how?! its prime classic gameplay, and ONLINE! i duno, maybe just because i was a bomberman fanatic back in the snes days that im a little bias toward it but i wish there was a bigger community for it though,hard for me to understand why there isnt
There are a couple of games I regret buying already. The three Burger King games, obviously. Perfect Dark Zero isn't nearly as polished as I imagined it would be. Enchanted Arms has a battle system that doesn't make any sense to me yet, and the gay character is so stereotypical that I die inside a little each time that I laugh at him. I picked up a used copy of Project Gotham Racing 3 for me and my dad to play, but it doesn't work right and sucks anyway. I have a faulty copy of Oblivion laying around that I can't return or sell. A lot of arcade games I got aren't that good, and I spent a lot of money on gamerpics and themes that I really didnt need one day.
It's inevitable, running into games that really aren't worth a buy. But hey, if you are one of the few who hasn't been disappointed by a single game they got for their 360 yet, more power to you.

And then I bought Bomberman on DS, and a new one came out. And then I bought Bomberman 93 on the Wii vc, and not long after I did that they made a Bomberman specifically for the Wii with wiiware. I really don't feel the need to get another Bomberman game, it's really all the same thing anyway.
Oh yeah, musn't forget to mention Guilty Gear 2. I read the reviews, I knew what I was getting myself into...still, what on Earth was I thinking??? Gah, I dunno... Still, there have been worse games made I guess.
It would have to be the Legendary edition of Halo 3. I knew what was going to be included, but $150 for a helmet and a bonus dvd is not worth it at all. The game itself is great though and I've never regretted buying a game, gameplay wise.
