But you don't get a hard drive, and they cost $90 on Amazon right now. So as long as your console works, I'd stick with it.

Get the one with the 250 gb harddrive. You can install the games with then saves the dvd drive wear and tear.

If you don't get a HDD with it, then I'd say no. I'm waiting for my 20gb console to go RROD and then I'll invest in a slim 250gb console, but until then... there's nothing wrong with the 360 I've got now.

If you really want a Xbox 360 S. It is better to get the Xbox 360 S with the 250GB HDD. $299.99 it is always best the have an HDD over 4GB of Flash memory. So save up and get that. Gamespot won't give you very much for your old Xbox 360 20GB Pro.

As everyone else has said, get the 250GB 360 S. I bought the 4GB a few months ago and I'm constantly clearing space for newer downloads/etc. While I don't use the full 4GB, I like enough room so that if something comes along and I need/want it, I can download it without having to delete stuff at that time. And I'm too cheap to buy the external HDD for it. Go for the 250GB - well worth it in the long run. Just a comparison - my Droid's SD card is 8GB.... it's a sad day when your phone can hold 2x as much as your video game console.

I hate Gamestop. I'd say keep your console, check with other trade in places, like Amazon or Best Buy. If you end up trading it just save some extra money first, and buy the $399 bundle with the 250gb and Kinect.

It's a waste of money if you don't need Wi-Fi. That's the main reason I traded up to a slim. Also don't get the 250GB, that's an even bigger waste. Microsoft charges you $100 extra for that 250GB when you can get a 320GB for under $50 shipped. You can even get a 500GB for $60 just in case the 360 ever comes up with a 500GB model (it only recognizes sizes that MS sells)

The kinect ready systems don't get RRoD so you'll be fine! But I can't see 4GB being enough space for anyone. Maybe for the casual gamer who only plans to play kinect games, dance games, or super casual games. I have the 250GB console and I feel it has enough space for my gaming needs.
