think the last one I played was Tekken 4? and while it was lots of fun, Im not sure about 6. It seems fighting game fans lately have been spoiled with Street Fighter IV or Soul Calibur.Allicrombie
I'm as big a Tekken fan now as I ever was, so I'm a little biased, but I thoughtGametrailersrecent preview of the game was fantastic. I may have drooled while watching it.
it's a solid 3D fighter, It WOULD be on my to-get list but L4D II, Episodes of Liberty City(TBoGT & TLaD), and MW2 are coming out so I have no interest in getting it.
Hopefully a friend gets it because I loved Tekken 5, the improvements in 6 are real good and it has a truck load of characters to master.
Agreed... theres just a lot of other games coming out that are highly replayable...I like the tekken series but this year i dont think i will be getting it. Just so many other games that i want. I do hope tekken 6 will be a good one but its not really a game that i would get right away.

[QUOTE="SgtNumNum"]Agreed... theres just a lot of other games coming out that are highly replayable... Tekken is one of the most re-playable games ever, so that doesn't really make much since. I know a lot of other games are coming out like MW2, DA:O, AC2, etc., which i will be getting as well, but I always thought there was a bigger Tekken following then what I am seeing, maybe I am just too old school.I like the tekken series but this year i dont think i will be getting it. I'm gonna wait for a price drop. The prices of Street Fighter 4 and Soul Calibur IV went down within a year, so i'll just have a little patience and hope Tekken 6 follows the trend. Especially since I boughtSF4 and SCIV at launch ( I really don't feel like paying $60 again). Plus, I'm completely content with SF4. I haven't really played Tekken since the 1st or second one. Whichever one it was when Law ran up his opponents body and then did a "belly flop" on him/her. That was one of the best moves in a fighting game EVER, IMO. :) So I think it's about time to get another Tekken, just not at launch
