Kotaku ran a story today about how some players are specially targeting minorities in the world of Watch_Dogs. When asked to Ubisoft, they commented they expected this happen when the game launch. The video below is called "Making the World a Better Place", showing a example of how some players are doing it.

What do you think of this?

Don't people always do those types of things in open world games? I remember when GTA 3 came out, people were bragging about taking out all the taxi drivers as revenge for September 11th, even though they were really just beating up anyone foreign in the game and just using that as an excuse. I remember playing 'The Warriors' on PS2 and would go out of my way to beat up all the homeless people.

@behardy24:

Seriously dude, there's no nice way to go around killing people in a VR game. Is there any realistic way to keep racists and misogynists from doing this sort of thing? Echoes answer, mournfully.
