Are you using the component cables with your PS2? I just got the PS2 component cables, but MGS3 looks like crap on my HDTV. Are there any settings you have to change in the console or game to get it looking better?

finally got around to taking some pics of mine. the flash on my cam was not working so its a little dark. i just got the tv (Sony Bravia 46 inch) a few weeks ago, i didnt have HD for a long time before and it makes a world of difference.

I've already got a xbox 360 and 5.1 surround sound but currently a crap telly, a 23 inch panasonic SDTV basically.

I will buy a Samsung 26inch LCD HDTV. 8)

Yea I'm using component cables. I just messed around with my tv settings until it looked like that for me. Thats also RE4 PS2, looks much better than crappy pics people show of it.

That Samsung CRT you are talking about, was my old set I still have it but I got the set in my sig as my new primary set. I learned you have to spend good money to get good things. The old saying you get your moneys worth was defiantely true for that Samsung. I know the top right of the screen would be cut off unevenly. Also it bent lines on the screen most noticeable during football games (when you look at the lines on teh field). I couldn't take it, had to upgrade ASAP.

Yea I'm talking about the slim fit, returning it will do nothing, all of them (that model) has the same issue. I know they have a new model, If you still like the style of the set or the look maybe you culd exchange it for the new model or return it and probably pay a little more to get the new model. It looks like this
