Saints Row 1 bored the hell out of me.

Saint's Row 2 isnt out, it could be the most buggy game ill ever play.

Saint's Row 1 was good but didnt have the quality of the GTA series, it missed a lot for example humor.

GTA4 is the start of a new game, build form the ground up like GTA3, the nextgen sequel is going to be better.

SR2 uses the same engine from SR1, it actually has the same city aswell. ITs going to be good but nothing special.

Dont forget that a trailer onyl shows good things, this game might have more graphic bugs then SR1. Remember how the envirnments suddently disappeared? They never fixed that with a patch and I expect similiar glitches in SR2.

GTA4 might not have the freeroam value of its predecessors due to changes that the devs made on purpose but SR2 wont have its a story thats anywhere near its quality.

I probably like both games. But I didn't finish GTA. To be honest, it was a little stretched out. I think I may get what these developers are talking about with short games. People don't really want short games but when games are long like GTA, they are just stretched instead of quality in my opinion. It gets kind off boring after a while. I'm more then half way through but I have no desire finishing the game. It's not like the gameplay is unique or anything of the sort. It's just the same as the previous GTA's, just less stuff to do.

Saints Row 2 looks to be more action packed from that trailer though. I'd like that more then the constant talking in GTAIV.

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Your pusposely avoiding it even though you would like it just because it rips on GTA? That's... wow. Seriously, you are playing on a 360 aren't you? Well, that wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the Atari so go play that then. Do you own a Ford? Or whatever the hell the first car ever was, because otherwise you pick the car that's ripping on it! Oh, and you do use Sony CD's for everything right? It be a crime if you used the competitors.

This whole topic makes me laugh seriously, Now then, Saints Row sucked, what are the odds of Saints Row 2 sucking? A lot.

They have the good advantage of playing GTAIV first so they know what they are up against.

GTAIV made a lot of changes that attempted to make it more realistic, but made it less fun to play. If SR2 focuses on making the game really fun then I think they stand a good chance of making a better game.

Rockstar will probably time the release of the DLC pack to coincide with the release of SR2 to distract people

It's no surprise it took you 3 times to realize the SR 2 trailer was mocking GTA IV. The game's not out yet, so you honestly can't say. GTA's campaign was fun, but got boring after you finished. SR 2 looks cool, I'll see what people say about it before buying it.

you're right the trailers in GTA 4 were awesome but the actual game is a TOTAL FAILURE, unlike GTA SA where the trailers were awesome and the game was awesome too
