When I go on marketplace and try to download certain more violent M rated demos it doesnt allow me to download it. It says that my account is not permitted to download content with this rating. I checked family settings and all content is unlocked. Is there any way I can fix this?

I think all you can do is either promote your account from a child account or age.

That happened to me its probably because you have a child account which doesn't allow you to download m rated content, what I did was make a new xbox live silver account with the age over 18 just for downloading m rated content.

Unfortunately, you HAVE to call Microsoft to have this changed. When I turned 18, I was told the only way I could become an adult in Microsoft's eyes was to call them and tell them that I thought I was an adult... :P.

It's a very stupid system, but that's Microsoft for you. Instead of adding a small bit of code that says "when this account holder turns 18, change account to Adult", they make you manually request for it.
