When it judges streaming quality I always get full bars, which should, atleast before give me HD video, but for some reason, the picture quality looks like my connection is 1 bar, even though it's an HD movie, and I have 4 bars. Before I use to stream movies in HD but for some reason now Netflix isn't streaming HD, even though my connections 4 bars.

Hmmm, have you checked your video preference settings? Maybe they somehow got changed, that's the only thing that makes sense.

Hmmm.... are you sure Netflix has 1080p streaming? I am fairly sure it is only stream 480p. And I am talking about streaming service in general, regardless you are using PC, console, etc.

Netflix does have 1080p streaming but only on the PS3. Also the 360 (and PC?) does do 720p, but the Wii only gets 420p.

Oh stop it. Netflix does not stream at higher resolution on PS3 than Xbox 360.

Not sure if you live in Canada or not TC, but a little while back Netflix added multiple streaming options specifically to address Canadians having low bandwidth caps. Prior to this change I was steaming in HD, but after I had to logon to the website to change my preferences. The settings are "good quality", "better quality" and "best quality" and good was the default and after I switched it to best, I was getting HD.

Not every show/movie on Netflix is HD. There should be a little "HD" icon for content available in HD streaming and it will pop up when your connection is good enough to display HD.

You do know anyone can edit a Wiki page? In many Universities if you use Wikipedia as your source you'll receive an instant grade reduction, be told to re-due the assignment and sometimes even an F.

I believe it. It has nothing to do with which ones better. I have both, ps3 DOES look slightly better.

My connection is 4 bars like I said, and it's 15-20 megabytes per second so I highly doubt that's it.

well Mr. 15-20 magabyts per second, youre the one with the problem, not us! :P lol j/k sounds like youre bridging (obviously) 4 bars just means you have a good signal between your router or access point and your system....that doesnt necessarily mean your net strength coming in is kosher. you could be taking a serious hit elsewhere. like previously stated check for leeches. add security to your wifi, if you havent, and if that still doesnt work i would try calling up your provider and seeing what the issue is...

Yep I have security, I found out the problem is that I have to change my video quality settings, they must have added in this option.
