just ordered enslaved off amazon today, but...

I just ordered this today and it says estimated delivery: December 21st through january 6th?!?!!? What the hell is this?? two months away! So confused..

anyone know what this is about? does amazon make shipping errors like this?

I doubt it will take that long. I often get delivery estimates for many weeks after the items actually arrive.

I've been using Amazon for a while now and I haven't gotten anything like that before. First, check the shipping to see if it was set to their "Christmas shipping special". A lot of online stores will have a "get it by Christmas" guarantee, so it might have an option to opt out of it if you review it. Other possibilities, there might be a product shortage etc... If all else fails, call them and speak to a Consumer rep.

hahaha so true... I am playing tons of it though, it's been a lot of fun. Favorite CoD game by far for me at least.

Haha, I am sorry. I am sure CoD will hold you over until Enslaved arrives. Amazon usually doesn't have stuff like this happen; maybe they will get some in soon.

yea, whenever amazon gets a load of orders for an item, the shipping date usually gets pushed back. it really was a great deal.

Yesterday, Tuesday, Enslaved was on sale for $25. In which I guess got sold out rather quick. I picked super-saver and they estimate between Nov 16 - 22. If you jumped on the vanwagon sooner your deliver date may be quicker.

BTW, just checked Amazon and they have just a few in stock. It must be the super-saver delivery (lowest order of Priority mail). You know, slower than snail-mail!

I really wanted it on the 360because I played both the PS3 and 360 versions and felt it ran smoother on the 360. However I was too impatient to wait 5-7 weeks so I went with the PS3 version. I love Amazon, but you should have the item you put on sale in stock.

Also, check to see who is shipping it, if it's amazon or one of their partners, etc. If it is a different seller than amazon, this could also lead to inaccurate shipping times. The super saver is always way off anyway.
