We'll see down the line though.

But really, gamerscores don't matter for anything.

It all depends on what games you're getting them from. In some games it's a lot harder to get achievements than others. If you play King Kong you can 1000 points without hardly doing anything.

I've had my 360 for two years and have 13K, and thats with sharing the console with roommates as well. And that seems really high too me. I don't see how people have 20K plus, I think I play games a pretty decent amount and can't fathom how much more I'd have to play to reach some of these scores (100K+ really). 800 points is fine because gamerscore is meaningless anyways, I wish achievements were there but I wish they didn't have value added to them, achievements are something to show off but gamerscore is just a meaningless number that shows you play too many video games.

Same here. And TC, it depends how many games you have. I care more about completion percentage. If you have 1 game with 845 GS it's better than having 100 games with 10,000 GS in my opinion.

You shouldn't worry about that, gamerscore isn't a competition unless you want it to be. Enjoy the games, and if you like getting achievements then go for them, but don't worry about comparing your GS to others. I like to get tons of achievements because I find them rewarding just by getting them, and I think they're fun to get. If you care about them then cool, get as many as you want, if you don't care then don't worry.

agreed gamerscore is nothing special if you don't like the game you are playing, so don't worry about it and casually work up the score, thats what I am doing.

gamerscore is just one of those added benefits, but it can get addictive. Gaming has alot of ties to getting points, completinh objectives etc, so its quite natural for people to get hooked on them and try unlock them.

On my old profile I never really cared much for them, but recently I have got quite into them. They are not all that even across the board though. Some games are alot easier than others to get, some are stupidly harsh. Avatar you can get 1000g in like 2 minutes apparently where as becoming an elite onn rainbow six nets your 40g and can take 1000 hours to get

Not really... I know someone who has had a 360 for 1 month and got 2000. But it doesn't matter. I've had a 360 since launch and I only have 5000. But then I only really get time to play rock band and street fighter now a days...

It really annoys me when people say achievements are pointless and a waste of time just have fun with the console...why do you think people collect them? yes for fun! I'm sure themajority of people who say those things collect pointless stuff as well so stop hating on gamerscore and the people that collect it there's nothing wrong with it and to answear the question it depends how many games you have played but in my opinion no its not that high. If you like collecting GS then just try and get 100% on each of your games its tricky but worth it at the end :)

Once I passed a couple of my friends and made it to 10k is when I stopped caring, I like to go after some because I'm a completionist, but it doesn't break my heart at all that I'm only missing 2 grinding achievements in Gears 2, I'm just proud that I beat it on Insane.

I try to get 100% in most of my games. I have 40,000 GS and 75% completion To me anything under about 10k is either a new player or casual gamer. 10k - 30k is fairly normal for a lot of people. 30k+ shows they like to play a lot of games

I guess it really doesn't matter what your gamerscore is. I think its a great addition though, it gives me a lot of replay value for games. Usually before achievements, if I beat a game I usually didn't go back to it. Now I do and usually play through all the difficulties.

This is a pretty dumb question. It completely depends on what games you are playing. If you only one game with hard achievements, then you are doing well I guess. Some games, like fight night or NBA street, were extremely easy to get a high gamer score on in no time.

achievements dont determine whether you are a true gamer or not, but they do add value to the game. the more achievements you go for, the more play you get out of the game.

Achievements are nice. But, I am not going to go out of my way to get all 1000 or more for a game. I just think it adds more replay value which isn't a bad thing.

it doesn't matter, but i do like getting all the acheivments in games though. I ushually beat them once without worrying about them, and then i go back and do some. I think it adds challenges and replay value to games.

Not really something you should care about. Though if you'd like my input, after a few months of having my console my Gamerscore was a bit over 5,000, so I'd say that 845 isn't really a "good" score. I'm going to assume yours is so low because you don't have very many games. Regardless, if you care about your Gamerscore enough to feel the need to ask others what they think of it, then there is a problem. I'd suggest just not caring about it; it's not like anyone else does.

I laughed at the part socialising part when I checked your forum posts and saw posts in MMO threads, and about wanting to date video game characters. Massive contradictions there.
