is splosian man worth the 1200 pts?

I have been wrestling with the idea of getting splosian man, however I don't want to waste 1200 points for a crappy game. Is the online multiplayer very active or is it impossible to find a good team?

I haven't played it yet, but it looks fun. Also, keep in mind there are always going to people that like and dislike a game.
