Is MOH multiplayer active?

Just curious. Does Medal of Honor have an active online community? I want to get Medal of Honor, but only if I can find a match. Do a lot of people play it? I'm hesitating picking it up because I'm more interested in the multiplayer.

Only 2000 people...wow. It's only been out for a month. I'm probably going to get it for the holidays, but that's a disappointment.
